25th Guitar Art Festival: Sponsored by ERSTE BANK Serbia and held at SIRIUS
Belgrade's Festival is one of the most popular classical guitar festivals in the world. This year it was sponsored by ERSTE BANK Serbia and it took place at SIRIUS. Every year Belgrade is visited by the greatest professors and guitarists who work with students from all over the world. The mission is to support, improve and promote great young talents. The Guitar Art Festival builds on the cultural heritage of the guitar and documents the development and achievements on its authorized audio releases.
Donation of books
IR SING donated chess books to the children with hearing impairment to "Center for early diagnosis and therapy of children with disabilities hearing Dečija kuća".
SIRIUS Honey, Our Champion Bee Product
After many years of cooperation with the Belgrade Association of Beekeepers and support for their "Urban Beekeeping" project, our mini bee garden, from the top of our New Belgrade building, diligently gives the products of its work, and we must say – it’s amazing! At the 90th international agricultural fair in Novi Sad, our honey won the title of quality champion in the product group.
Although in previous years we received the highest quality marks from the Food Testing Center, now our honey has also received recognition from the Novi Sad Fair. Our New Belgrade SIRIUS honey stood out among 194 samples! This confirms the quality of the products made by our bees; therefore, it is our honor and pleasure to be their home.

Instalment of recycling machine in entrance lobby
We started ecological project called "It's natural to recycle" with our tenant, packaging waste operator SEKOPAK, with the aim of motivating employees to recycle PET bottles and AL cans packaging waste through smart recycling. We will change the location of the recycling machine every month so that everyone has the opportunity to learn about smart recycling.
It is important for us to take care of our planet, and recycling is one of the ways to contribute to environmental protection every day and reduce the negative impact on planet earth.

“Sirius” has joined the initiative of the Association for people with disabilities
A better, more just and tolerant society is a goal to which we all aspire. This is exactly why we decided to join the initiative of our lessee, the Strabag company, and support the Association “Our home”, which is committed to providing training and improving employability of people with disabilities.
“Our home” has started a handmade paper production from used cigarette packs and employed people with disabilities. Sirius recognized this initiative and supported it by setting up boxes for collecting discarded cigarette packs. Paper produced with this method is of different size, weight and can be used for different purposes. The plan is to expand the scope of its applicability with the help of production technology experts.
By setting up boxes for collecting used cigarette packs we have actively joined the initiative of “Our home” to support the inclusion of people with disabilities into work processes, and at the same time to draw attention to their status in society. This initiative has a positive environmental impact as well, because the production process includes recycling of paper waste.

Donation of Thuja trees for landscaping the school park
In order to preserve the environment and greenery in New Belgrade, IMMORENT SINGIDUNUM donated Thuja trees to the Elementary School "Laza Kostić“, our neighbor across the street from SIRIUS. As part of the donation, 15 Thuja trees were planted in the yard of this school.
Thuja trees, which have been part of the SIRIUS business complex, have found a new purpose in greening the yard of this primary school. All delivery, planting and maintenance training costs were covered by the IMMORENT SINGIDUNUM.
At IMMORENT SINGIDUNUM, as well as at whole ERSTE GROUP IMMORENT, we are committed to supporting cities, both in terms of building business premises and preserving the environment. We believe in caring for the environment and we want a healthy environment for the children of Belgrade, that’s why we decided to give these foreigners a new home.

"Be part of the fairy tale"
As a support to the humanitarian activity "Be a part of a fairy tale" (“Budi deo bajke”), we managed to help set up the first children's library at the Mother and Child Health Care Institute of Serbia, through donation of the furniture. The library "Jovan Jovanović Zmaj" is now opened.
The importance of this campaign was also recognized by the companies that are tenants in the SIRIUS business complex, which helped us collect the necessary books for children aged 0-15.

Homemade bee honey from our constellation
The disappearance of bees over the past decade has contributed to an increasing number of people in cities taking up beekeeping. Although at first glance the urban environment does not seem to be an ideal habitat for this unique species, the trend of beekeeping in urban areas is becoming increasingly popular around the planet. In North America and Europe, this trend has already developed to a considerable extent, and recently these creatures which have a vital importance for our ecosystem can be found on the rooftops of some Belgrade buildings.
For that reason, in cooperation with the Belgrade Association of Beekeepers, which launched the urban beekeeping activity, we came up with the idea to place 3 beehives on the roof of one of our buildings in New Belgrade. As we created a home for them at the top of our building, we decided to give a personal touch to their dwelling, branding the hives in which they go about their work hard. Today, we can proudly state that the fruit of our idea and their hard work is "Homemade honey from bees from our constellation".

Showers
It turned out that in the summer season, which is drawing to an end, many users of the SIRIUS building used a bicycle as a means of transportation. We are happy about that! If you are one of them, we support your habits and we want to provide you with even greater comfort for future visits.
To that end, we have provided a shower for all cyclists.
The shower is located in the elevator lobby on the 2nd floor. It is equipped with access control, so you need to contact your coordinators for communication with the Administration in order to apply for the use of toilets and to have your cards properly programmed.

New bicycle parking
We are happy that a large number of users of the Sirius building are using a bicycle as a means of transportation to get to the facility!
We have made an effort to provide you with additional parking space, so now, in addition to the existing spaces under the canopy, you can also use the bicycle parking rack located at the garage entrance.
It provides an additional weather-proof 4-5 parking spaces indoors.
The use of the rack is free for all employees at the facility during working hours.

New bicycle parking
So far, you have had the opportunity to get acquainted with the operating procedures of the SIRIUS facility. For those who know - a reminder, for those who do not know - a notice: SIRIUS has organized disposal of recyclable waste. Paper, cardboard, plastic, glass and metal are separated.
Apart from the fact that it is a pity that a potential resource is thrown into the garbage, landfills are unnecessarily loaded (and even up to 60% of the garbage that ends up in the landfill can be recycled!) and we have recycling plants that are not used as much as they could.
In the course of the past year, SIRIUS recycled over three tons of waste, mostly paper and cardboard, a bit less plastic and some glass.
Your involvement in the recycling process at the facility, which aims to contribute to environmental preservation, would be welcome. We kindly ask you to not throw the above types of garbage in outer containers in case that you have them, and to instead place them in the recycling containers in garbage bags neatly separated into plastic, glass and metal (each type separately). These are located in our garbage disposal facility in building A (the security key is at the Info Desk).

Sirius is made up of two Class A office buildings, Sirius A and Sirius B, connected by a joint underground garage.

Sirius and Milutin Milankovic
Sirius is named after the brightest star in the night sky. The name “Sirius” is derived from the ancient Greek: -Sirius (“glowing” or “scorcher”). What the naked eye perceives as a single star is actually a binary (double) star system – similar to the office buildings Sirius A and Sirius B.
Sirius is located on the street that was named after Milutin Milankovic, a renowned Serbian scientist whose major contribution to science dealt with the climates of all the planets in the solar systems and the cyclical changes of the Earth’s position relative to the Sun. It’s therefore appropriate to pay additional tribute to him by naming our Project “Sirius”.
